Answer (1-3 paragraphs)

1.
You were introduced to
the social construction of reality framework in the second Module. During
Module 1, when we talked about the three major sociological perspectives
(symbolic interactionism, structural functionalism, and conflict theory), you
learned which social institutions and members of society have the greatest
ability to shape reality. I would like you to combine your knowledge of these
two Modules by describing the social construction of reality and conflict
perspectives in detail and then explain who the major shapers of reality are, and
how way they go about constructing reality, from a conflict perspective.

2.
The fourth Module
about “types of relationships” and “family dynamics” required you to read an
empirical sociological study titled “Invisible Inequality,” authored by Annette
Lareau. Please provide a summary of the article using as much detail as
possible. Be sure to offer a summary of the study, explain how the author
designed the study (i.e., her social research method), and highlight the major
findings and conclusions as they relate to the sociology of the
family.
