Unit 1 Assignment Documentation, Policies, and Risk Management
Outcomes addressed in this activity:
Explain the importance of risk assessment.
Calculate risk using the formula.
Examine security policies, standards, and guidelines.
Describe risk management best practices.
Course Outcomes:IT286-1: Examine the process of risk assessment and network monitoring.
PC-3.3: Convey competence through demonstrating characteristics such as reliability, accountability, and timeliness.
NOTE: You will have two parts to the assignment in this unit that will be submitted as one file through the Dropbox.
Unit assignments or labs include short essay (1/2 page or less), descriptive tables, and screen captures demonstrating an understanding of the topics. Any resource used, including the reading should be properly cited.
Documents should be submitted using APA Style (double-spaced with a title page and a reference page). Essays should be separated into sections by the assignment part number and the question number.
