Part I. Michelangelo painted primarily in the fresco medium, that is, large paintings on walls and ceilings. His smaller easel-size pictures are few and far between. So rare are his small paintings that only one exists in the Western hemisphere. Where is it? A hint: The painting was conceived in Florence in the late 1400s, but it now resides in a museum in Texas. Please furnish (1) the artist’s name; (2) the title and location of the work; (3) a photograph; and (4) a link to its specific URL address. (10 points)
Part II. In one of the museums or collections of the Dallas-Fort Worth area locate an example of one of the following forms of printmaking: intaglio (etching, engraving, aquatint, or mezzotint), lithography, or serigraphy (silkscreen). In your attachment please furnish (1) the artist’s name; (2) the title and location of the work; (3) a photograph; and (4) a link to its specific URL address. (10 points)
